Every Young Woman Deserves a Place to Belong
Restoration House of Northern Michigan provides housing, mentoring, and life skills development in a Christ-centered environment for 18- to 24-year-old women in need of home, hope, and healing.
Each young woman will gain the opportunities, skills, resources, and relationships she needs to build a healthy adult life.
Although we are a Christian organization, young women of all faiths and spiritual beliefs will be welcomed.
Did you know that...More than 23,000 youth age out of the U.S. foster care system each year.
20% become instantly homeless.
Only 55% of children in foster care finish high school.
Only 3% will ever complete college.
Only 50% will be gainfully employed by age 24.
A shocking 70% of the young women will be pregnant before age 21.
About 25% of foster youth suffer from PTSD.
Youth leaving foster care are at high risk for addiction, exploitation, and human trafficking.*
Restoration House wants to change those statistics for the young women who walk through our front door.
